A large, well-known aircraft manufacturer had been suffering from excessive sunlight, through the fibreglass roof lights at their manufacturing facility. The light was preventing employees from seeing calibration lasers on some of the machinery, and the company was considering installing overhead blinds. However, they were concerned that overhead blinds would collect dust, which could fall into the expensive machinery.
To solve the problem, we installed Filmcote Solar Control Paint externally to the roof lights above the machinery. In addition to cutting glare by 80%, this product also cuts 85% of solar heat. This has the additional benefit of reducing the load on the plant’s air conditioning system, creating energy savings. Filmcote Solar Control Paint has a life expectancy of ten years – an extremely low-maintenance solution for the client.
We are very happy with the window film; it has given us privacy and fading protection with little light reduction. Thank you for taking so much time to help us choose the right film and for fitting us in at your busy time of year.

Thank you for the frosted window film applied to our office windows, we are all really pleased with how much smarter they have made the offices look and they have resolved the glare issue we were experiencing from the car windscreens on the forecourt.
Thanks once again for a superb product and a very professional job.

We thought the service provided was very good. The window film results were very good and with a fine appearance. In all a satisfactory result and solution to our problems with light from large window areas.
Mr & Mrs. Smith
The addition of window film to our conservatory has made it comfortable in sunny weather and is no longer a no go in hot weather.
The operatives worked efficiently covering blinds etc and the clean up afterwards was well done. Leaving everything clean and spotless.
We have been able to dispose of our vertical blinds, in the knowledge that we now have total privacy in the dining room/study and front bedrooms. Shapes are still evident in the sitting room as this room has a dual aspect, incorporating large window areas and the rear window is not tinted.
The fitters were both courteous and polite and demonstrated a high level of respect while working in our house.
